My Home Page Won't Load
Sometimes when you connect to the internet, you will see a blank screen and
you will get a message saying "web site unavailable" or something to that
affect. This doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't connected to the
internet. To check for a connection, look for the "connection" icon (two small
green computer screens or a computer and a phone) at the lower right of your
screen. If you see this icon, you are connected to the internet.
Websites sometimes crash. This is not an unusual occurrence on the internet.
It could be that your home page site has crashed or that a portion of the
internet is temporarily "down."
Try typing in another URL (www.__________.com) in the address line and see if
you can connect to other internet sites. You should try at least three or four
different web sites.
